They were only able to film 12 (11?) episodes due to the strike.  The CW has not said it is canceled.  The communications executive publicly said the network supports the show.  Weird way to show support, but hopefully the situation is temporary.  There's quite a vocal fanbase working on it

SPN will begin to air the last of four episodes on 1/31 in the US.  Once February sweeps are over, Reaper gets its timeslot and SPN is off the schedule.

There are quite a few postcard campaigns going on to respectuflly ask the CW not to keep it off the schedule for too long. (here's one http://coltshot- 1.livejournal. com/26033. html)

I never do this, but since we're more than likely not getting a full season, I let myself get a little spoiled.  I watched a clip of the upcoming episode and man, if the whole show is as intense as that clip, I'm gonna need oxygen by the end!

You're definitely in good company!  Many of us JDM diehards first became familiar with (and fell head over heels for) our beloved Denny Duquette   If you are interested in other works of Jeffrey's worth watching, you might want to check out Supernatural. Even though Jeffrey is only in a handful of episodes, his portrayal of John Winchester (father of the 2 main characters, Dean and Sam) is wonderful. I only started watching Supernatural because of Jeffrey and became totally addicted and fell for the Winchester brothers as well, it's a truly awesome show!  Of course you should also check out P.S. I Love You, if you haven't already.....Jeffrey is simply adorable in it!
