Hi Jansal, I am so sorry for your loss .... I understand what you are feeling like I know I will loose my Felix sooner or later but I cannot even imagine how bad it will be that day. Big hugs from me too.
any time my dear, I spent the day at work, helping fix air con disaster, start the school webpage and photocopy for th first 2 weeks back. In my holidays, no less, go figure!

I'm so sorry for you Jans! I'm sending a big hug to you! Must be a day of sad news. Awork colleagues father passed away after a long illness.
Let your other cat come to you, leave some food out and she'll come around when she feels like it, cats are like that, they do things in their own time.

I'm in a very sad mood today. One of my cats called AJ, passed away last night....I found her in the garden by the back door. I believe she died from old age. She was just 4 days of being 12 years old. Is that old for a cat? Our other cat was her mother and we can tell she is so upset...she wont feed or come to us and just meows none stop where we found AJ. Hopefully she will come to us soon..but its so frustrating!
Aww, how cute! We had two cats when I was growing up, a russian blue and a tiger mix. They were so lovable. Having cats is a completely different world than having a dog, that much I have learned! Cats are easier by far to take care of than a dog!

I am an animal lover too. I always had animals in the house, although only for a few periods (kind of dog/cat/birds sitter for family and friends) since my mother didn't want animals having not too much outdoor space. About 13 years ago, my father decided to have a cat no matter what, so now that my father is not with us anymore, the cat is mine and I love him soooo much!!! His name is Felix (how original!!!) and he is a mix between a Persian and a Carthusian, is all grey with long and thick hair ..... so a lot of brushing and vacuum cleaning
Yes, he's a lovable one! Like I said, you can see why Bisou gets to be such a lucky doggie! If Jeff is anything like I am with my pet, I'm sure she gets the special treatment!! My doggie does.....matter a fact, he's snoring away in my ear right now...LOL!

I know! I saw the posts! The one thing about pugs is that they are loud dogs. Not by barking....only time Rufus barks is when he wants his chew toys! His favorite tends to roll under the couch all the time! Once in a blue moon he barks at the door, but other than that he's quiet. He just breathes loud. Snores alot....LOL! I would say just like a man, but....HA HA HA! I love my baby dearly! He got out of the backyard the other night when I let him out cuz someone left the gate open, I was flipping out! Don't know what I would do without him! I've been trying to hook him up with my friends black pug, but that just isn't happening, besides, Pam doesn't want her baby to have babies... <frowning> I might have a female lined up for him while he's at my friend Traci's while I'm in Vegas.....so, cross your fingers! We'll see!
Ladies! I have a pug, he does have alot of skin issues, as itching is a major problem with pugs. I've had him for two years now and he's the love of my life, so I can see why Bisou gets treated so well! Rufus does as well....thinking of breeding him soon, a few ppl have asked....who wants some puppies? LOL!!

I love when pugs snuggle their very wet noses in your hair and neck. It's a very, um, creepy yet comforting experience. The only downside to pugs is that I think they tend to have a lot of skin and allergy issues. Given how much vets charge, it may not be very economical, if that's even a concern for you. But yes, they are really cute. I also have a soft spot for Yorkies. They're like little cuddly teddy bears.
I'm so sorry to see my friends may be lonely! It makes me wish we lived closer together. I really don't know what to say. I know I am blessed with a great husband who takes really good care of me. He does drive me crazy most of the time, but the good out weighs the bad. Just do your thing and see what happens. He will show up when you least expect it.(wink) Love! P.S. I love pugs! They are adorable. I love the way they bark, all sinusy and stuff!

I hear ya on the drought thing. It really is hard to find a good guy in this crazy world we live in! You should consider another cat. My kitty is 17-years-young and I love her to bits. She has seen my through thick and thin. As a wise man once said, "she's my furry little rock." Nothing compares to that kind of unconditional love. Just a suggestion, but it might make those lonely times less lonely.
my dad was an animal lover. I think that is where I get it from. My father passed about in 2003. My dog and he didn't know each other for long. about three years before my dad passed away he visited me for a week when I was living in Florida. He and my dog Valentine hit it off. He was a smokeer and I don't allow that in my house, so he would take her for a walk when he would go smoke. She just loved that.
Then just before he passed away I moved back to WV. Valentine and my dad where always together. They were buddies. You could tell after he passed away she missed him.
I will never forget how my dad loved every dog he met. And I will never forget how those two were buddies.
My Dad also died in 2005, long suffering illness. If you want to know more just PM me. To keep thison track my dad was an animal lover, he was a great pet owner.

I love playing with animals, love pulling string or twigs along and the cat trying to get it or jumping around and making the dog run around like nuts!

I forgot to mention that Ms. Bella just had her 11th birthday earlier this month! I know how scary newborn kittens can be Jans, kudos to you for being so caring! Your babies are lucky to have you. Swell, get a new pet, if your schedule allows! Wouldn't it be great to come home to something fluffy and sweet? You could name it after Jeffrey, maybe one of your fav characters, or something?! Think about it mate!

I've got 2 cats. Tink and her daughter AJ. Tink is only 8 months older than her 'baby'. Tink is only a very small tabby cat. When she went into labour she had trouble delivering AJ. I had to help her by gently rubbing her stomach and at the same time gently pushing her stomach to help the kitten out. Eventually after quite awhile, she delivered her first kitten. As hard as she tried, she tried to deliver her second and final kitten, but because the kitten was big compared to her, it was stuck! We rushed her to the vet who performed an emergency cesearean on her. Unfortunately the kitten had died. While Tink was recovering we had to feed AJ with an eye dropper! Believe me, trying to hand rear a tiny kitten was a huge feat. But we did it. That was 11 years ago!

I am glad he is a pet lover. I have a 13 year old Lasa Opsa. He mother had the litter by C Section and would not feed them. I to got her when she was small enough to fit in my hand and had room left over. I bottle fed her for 2 months. then the vet said I had to feed her dog food. She still only weighed a few ounces. Now she is all grown up, It's kind of crazy what we do for our pets. They are part of the family for sure. Cathy
That is what I call a loving owner! Good on ya Jeff! I've had a whole lot of fish at one time, but 20 pets- that is a real puller of thse purse strings- drained out or what- I'm not sure what it is like for you guys ove there, but having a dog or a cat over here is really pricy. The Vets they charge through the teeth!

So it has come to this....we, grown women, are envious of a dog and her fantastic life!? Yeah, I can only imagine how good he must treat Bisou! I still wonder though, if she travels with him from coast to coast? (sigh)
Wow! 20?!? And I was over here thinking my kitty is an old lady at 17!

Ok. I have a corny piece of advice for you. Don't look. Try to forget all about meeting someone and focus on yourself. Enjoy your life, have fun, go places, travel. Come visit the states! I'm sure your'e going to say that you aren't looking, but it works. It worked for me, and several of my friends, we were all about girl power and we tripped over these men! I am sorry if you are lonely, but I know you are a beautiful person, inside and out, it will happen...kiss! Big hug! V

I'd like to say that I'm so wondered!! Is there anything more to make this man perfect? I don't think so. He IS perfect. It's so cute when a man loves animals!!!
I was thinking less portable water boy and more...seeing to Mr. Morgan's every need! If he wanted a bagel, I'd go get it. If he needed me to dial his cell phone, I'd do it. You get the idea? That's a dream job, as far as I can tell! I'll bet Bisou is just a sweet girl too! Spoiled within an inch of her life and loves every minute of it!!
