Well, I absolutely hate the winters here, if I didn't have to leave my house, I would hibernate. I don't mind driving in the snow, but sometimes it can get downright frigid outside. Normally I just stay in and keep warm. I crochet a ton over the winter--the plot thickens--it's easier to keep warm when you have a blanket you are working on overtop of you LOLbiggrin

LOL, it's raining right now!

We usually have decent summers (not so much this year, but it hasn't been horrible), but we do get a lot of rain in the winter.  It's usually not a hard rain, though, more like heavy mist for long periods of time. 

It's more the constant gray in the winter that gets hard to handle; it rains quite a bit, but we have week after week after week of gray.

I wouldn't really call us lucky.  Right now, I am getting the last little bit of Hurricane Faye.  Florida, I'm surprised that there is still land above water after Faye went through.

At least ya'll get winter.  Hahaha. 

And Theresa lives near where JDM was raised.  biggrin

I grew up in the Southeastern United States if that gets me any points.  I spent 18 months in Jacksonville FL, followed by 24 or so years in Charleston SC and then a couple years in Charlotte NC.  I'm in the Seattle area now.

Hello girls!
I usually don't post very much (Syl and Jen can vouch for me on this), but I am trying to get back into the swing of things.

I seem to be the only one from the Southeastern United States (North Carolina), so I am the resident "Southern Belle".  Russia and Norway have been on my "MUST VISIT" list since forever, so I hope to see the beautiful countries ya'll live in someday.

It's funny to see JDM fans from all over the world.  I keep thinking that we should have all met up in Beijing, that way instead of watching sports...we could all chat about how great JDM is.  Haha.
